Reynolds Mansion B&B

We booked this lovely B&B to break up our long drive from Detroit to Brooklyn to visit our daughter. It is a short distance from I-80. To our delight, the Reynolds Mansion features three electric vehicle chargers (universal and Tesla), and charging is free! This meant we could relax and enjoy a break from driving and charge. We stayed in the Trophy Room. It was large with a balcony overlooking the garden. The room was spotless and the amenities over-the-top. We enjoyed a complimentary beverage before and after dinner. Jess and Marcia were incredible hosts, anticipating all our needs with hearts for service and a dedication to maintaining this historic property. The breakfast was delicious with a pear compote parfait followed by gourmet scrambled eggs with bacon. We intend to return to this B&B on our trips to and from Brooklyn and continue exploring the scenic Bellefonte area.

We loved staying at Reynolds Mansion! We stayed in both the cottage and the Nittany blue room and both were so beautiful, clean, and fun to stay in! What made this place so great was that it had that beautiful historic atmosphere but with modern amenities like the jacuzzi, jetted tub, etc. The innkeeper Jess was super nice and helpful. She made the place feel like a home away from home. The homemade breakfasts in the mornings were delicious. The location was great, it was a short easy walk to the downtown area. There are lots of restaurants and a beautiful park in that area. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast and would stay here again!

I highly recommend Reynolds Mansion! We had planned an outdoor elopement at Talleyrand Park nearby and the day before our elopement the weather was not looking promising. I had reached out to a couple of B&B's in Bellefonte inquiring about space for pictures as a backup (along with a place to get dressed), and not only was Reynolds eager to help but they went above & beyond. We ended up booking the Trophy Room for the night & the stay was absolutely amazing. It was a very cozy & intimate environment, and the mansion was quiet all night. The innkeeper Jess even brought us chocolates & a gluten free cupcake, and a congratulatory card ＜3. The mansion itself is gorgeous and spotless, learning the history of the mansion was really fun, and the innkeeper Jess making breakfast was the cherry on top of our stay. We will definitely be staying at Reynolds again, and I would encourage you to book a stay too.

This was our second stay at the Reynolds Mansion and this stay exceeded our expectations! Jess and her family are gracious hosts who are so friendly and attentive to all of their guests needs. We came back to the mansion to celebrate our anniversary and this time booked a stay in Suite 2 in the carriage house. The layout and decor of the suite were well done while being very clean and comfortable. The bedsheets are very soft which made for such comfortable nights of sleep. Parking at this suite is very convenient, being right outside the entrance of the carriage house itself. The entire mansion is exquisitely decorated and maintains its historical charm. Beverages and an appetizer were not only provided upon our arrival, but Jess’s Mom delivered the appetizer to our suite herself. When we were out exploring the town that evening, they brought a piece of Jess’s chocolate cake to our room waiting on us when we came back to the suite. This kindness and service is not found at most places and was so appreciated! We opted for breakfast in bed and mimosas brought to our suite as a treat to ourselves. Not only were Jess and her Mom so kind when they brought our breakfast both mornings, but the freshly made breakfasts and the mimosas were delicious! Everything provided to us from the amenities to the food were of high quality. Thank you both for the tour of the mansion prior to our departure. We can’t wait to come back for our third visit!

Best friends from New Jersey and Ohio chose Reynolds Mansion for a girls’ getaway and we wish that we could’ve stayed longer than 2 days! We were very warmly welcomed by Marcia. She was consistently accommodating and friendly our entire stay. Breakfast was delicious as were the homemade brownies & cookies. Thanks so much Marcia for all that you did to make it a memorable stay! And thank you Jess for the personal note to welcome us upon arrival- a special added touch! I have been in the hotel business in Sales & Marketing for luxury boutique hotels for 30 years, and stand behind recommending the hotel to everyone and everyone. The beautiful property alone won me over and is kept immaculately. The service, of course brings it over the top. The food was a WOW! My shower in an original claw foot tub you would think would be less than ideal but turned out to be one of the best showers ever! If you are thinking about staying- DO IT!
